What to Expect During an Investigation
1. Initial Consultation & Site Evaluation
Every investigation begins with a thorough review of the reported concerns, available project documentation, and the affected building enclosure systems. During the site visit, we evaluate existing conditions, document observed deficiencies, and gather the information necessary to determine the most appropriate investigative approach.
2. Diagnostic Testing & Forensic Investigation
As appropriate for the project, we utilize industry-standard testing and advanced diagnostic tools—including moisture mapping, infrared thermography, borescopes, air leakage testing, water penetration testing, and other forensic techniques—to identify the source of deficiencies and evaluate the performance of the building enclosure.
3. Objective Findings & Practical Recommendations
Following the investigation, you receive a comprehensive, evidence-based report documenting our observations, testing procedures, findings, photographs, and recommendations. As an independent building enclosure consulting firm, we do not perform repairs or sell products—our recommendations are objective, unbiased, and focused solely on identifying the root cause and helping you make informed decisions.
